Pokémon GO hack lets you hatch eggs without going anywhere!

Birmingham’s favourite app (besides the Birmingham Mail one, natch) Pokémon GO – requires a LOT of walking.

The augmented reality game requires players to walk around their homes, parks and local towns to find new pokémon, as well as achieving goals, for example hatching incubating eggs.

But if all this sounds a bit too much like hard work – check out this lhack.

First if all, you can’t use your car to increase your distance – so players must resort to walking or cycling either 2km, 5km, or 10km to hatch them (other forms of slow transportation can also work).

The most common pokémon are found in the 2km eggs, with the rarest in the 10km eggs – which means you’re in for a lot of walking if you want to advance in the game.

But that’s where Rusty Cage’s hack comes in.

The most searched for Pokemon by city.

Rusty figured out that placing your phone on top of a record player, and letting it spin around, will increase your walking distance in no time at all.

And you don’t even have to lift a finger.

Pokemon GO players are required to walk around to achieve certain goals

Since the app took off, thousands of users are already noticing the positive effect it is having on their fitness levels – and even their mental health.

One player, who admitted to being a “bit overweight”, took to social media to admit that they are currently walking further than ever before without even realising.

Pokemon Go

They wrote: “I could lie and say I set an outrageous goal for myself and somehow managed to meet it; but really I was just trying to catch some pokemon.

“I could also lie and say I feel great; but no, all I feel now is pain.

“Didn’t feel too bad while walking, but after sitting down to write this post, man is it catching up with me fast.”

Another added: “Oh. No wonder I’m so sore. My health app says between today and yesterday I’ve walked a total of 35,000 steps. Thanks PokemonGo.”
