Samsung is expected to include numerous new features in the upcoming Galaxy S8 Plus, with the anticipation being that these will ultimately trickle down into a Galaxy Note 8 release later in 2017. In previous generations, the Galaxy Note has always been more powerful than the Galaxy S series, with this contributing to the glorious reputation of the phablet range.

A number of new rumors have recently emerged about the Galaxy Note 8, and from what could be determined so far, it looks like Samsung is going full force in the development of the Note 8. According to the Inquisitr, there are three very encouraging rumors which have recently emerged about the upcoming flagship, which as if on cue, is speculated to be codenamed “Great.”
Exynos 8895 SoC
Samsung has a fondness for releasing two variants of its flagship devices – one with a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip and another with own Exynos processor every year. This time around, it seems that Samsung might be following this trend, as Galaxy Note 8 would be equipped with the South Korean tech giant’s next-generation SoC, the Exynos 8895.
The Exynos 8895 is a monster of a mobile chip, which is capable of meeting and possibly even beating the Snapdragon 835 in some aspects. Chip is created using a 10nm finFET process and capable of supporting 4K video capture at 120fps, according to Android Authority.
Dual ISP Camera
The Exynos 8895 will open the way for a camera innovation that would most likely make a debut with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The Galaxy Note 7, which boasted a very good camera, to some extent disappointed many when it was revealed to have a single sensor. With the Note 8 being equipped with the Exynos 8895 SoC, nevertheless, Samsung would finally be able to equip its flagship phablet with a Dual Image Signal Processor (ISP) camera, which is one of the most advanced imaging systems in the mobile industry.
An 8mm Frame
The Galaxy Note line-up usually includes devices that are superior to the S-series, Samsung’s other flagship brand. According to Value Walk, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 might be as thin as 8mm that would make it the thinnest phablet ever released by the South Korean tech giant.
Despite some rumors suggesting that Samsung could be tempted to rush the Galaxy Note 8 to recover from the debacle of last year, the smart money is on this phablet rumored to be releasing in the second half of 2017. The Galaxy S8 will be released early this year. The Galaxy Note 7 was offered in Blue Coral, so it seems extremely likely that this will be retained for the Galaxy Note 8, alongside gold and silver options.
